Overview
Jade Mountain is a one of a kind boutique hotel and resort in St Lucia, directly on the Caribbean over looking the World Heritage Site of the Pitons. They are innovative in their approach to architecture, design and hospitality.
Challenge
To create a world class food, style and cuisine to compliment the resort and make it a standout destination for food world wide. Ownership did understand that they did have magnificent natural food resources at their finger tips but did not know how to capture that in the cuisine.
Solution
To design and articulate a new cuisine which we named Jade Cuisine. Mentored and guided a young innovative chef to find the local food resources and make them a part of a modern - - fresh daily menu, using owner's organic farm, fish from neighboring fishing villages, and tropical fruits, and spices of the Caribbean. As a food destination we have earned one of top three resorts in the world by Travel and Leisure.
